We are planning Action I in the project

International training and learning action for partners in Germany

The first partners' meeting will take place from 18.01 - 21.01.2024. The meeting is organised by FAV Service Gotha. The meeting will aim to get to know:

  • approaches, using the example of the Land of Thuringia (D), to provide specialists in the IT and electrical professions with specific skills as a prerequisite for realising the digital and energy transition,
  • ways of enhancing the attractiveness of VET education at ISCED 3-4 level in the context of EU policy needs,
  • planning needs in VET (D) education in the IT and electrical professions,
  • inclusion of people with fewer opportunities in VET education,
  • FAV's good practice in terms of targeting and how to prepare members for the digital and energy transition,
  • assess the feasibility of integrating the solutions learned into everyday practice.
  • The meeting will be attended by representatives from OTN (PL), FAV (DE) and EPKA (GR).

The FAV is a partner in the project "PARTNERSHIP FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION - EXCHANGING EXPERIENCE IN THE DIRECTION OF VET TRAINING FOR THE FUTURE - INFORMATICIAN AND ELECTRICIAN".

The FAV is pleased to announce that it is expanding its European dimension and is a partner in the project entitled The FAV is pleased to announce that it is expanding its European dimension and is a partner in a project entitled "PARTNERSHIP FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION - EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FUTURE TRAINING OF VET - IT AND ELECTRICIAN" co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus plus Partnerships for Cooperation (KA210) Small-Scale Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training programme.

Why we are carrying out the project

A horizontal concern is the need to increase the number of trainees in the electrician and IT professions.

The problem of the energy transition is the shortage of specialists. Policies in Poland, Germany and Greece assume an acceleration in energy neutrality with an even greater need for specialists in the above-mentioned professions that provide sustainable jobs in the European labour market.

The partnership wants to establish and direct transnational cooperation in the area of VET in the development of education in the professions of computer science and electricians.

Project objectives:

  • learning about how to make the professions of the future more attractive and the relevance of VET in the context of EU challenges through the exchange of experience,
  • establishing a forum for cooperation and exchange of innovative practices and experiences on how to target and adapt VET, good practices in terms of digital and energy transition and integrating the learned solutions into everyday practice
  • mutual learning of cross-sectoral cooperation increasing the link between the education and employment phase and the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.

What we want to achieve with this project:

  • exchange experiences on how to enhance the attractiveness of the professions of the future and the relevance of VET education in the context of the EU's strategic challenges,
  • identify the importance of VET education in computer science and electrical engineering as a key to the success of the EU's digital and energy transition policies,
  • create a forum for cooperation and exchange on increasing the link between the education and employment phase and how to integrate the solutions learnt into everyday practice.

Source of funding
